ams OSRAM is seeking a seasoned data engineering professional to join the Cloud Data Warehouse team in Portugal. You will translate data needs into technical specifications and build scalable data pipelines, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and architects.

We seek 5+ years of cloud data warehouse experience, strong SQL and Python, and data modelling with data vault 2.0 or star schemas. Fluent English and excellent communication are essential for global collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (Snowflake and/or Databricks).
• Hands-on data modelling with data vault 2.0 and/or star schema.
• Strong SQL and ETL frameworks understanding; data staging with SQL and Python.
• Experience in PowerBI, data integration tools, and orchestrating pipelines with dbt and Apache Airflow.
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Work with data scientists and analysts to translate data needs into technical specs and models.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Develop and document best practices across the team.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for cost and performance.
• Ensure data security and integrity in data warehouses.
