ams OSRAM seeks a senior data engineer to design and optimize cloud-based data solutions that meet business needs. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate requirements into scalable data models and robust pipelines.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Power BI. Hybrid work model offered with a focus on data security and governance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Software Eng or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (Snowflake/Databricks).
• Hands-on data warehouse modelling (Data Vault 2.0 or Star Schema).
• Strong SQL and ETL framework knowledge.
• Experience with Python for data staging and data pipelines.
• Proficient in data visualization with Power BI.
• Experience with NiFi, Azure Data Factory and data integration tools.
• Knowledge of data security and governance practices.

Responsabilidades

• Work with data scientists and analysts to translate data requirements into models.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the team.
• Build scalable data pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Apply business rules using SQL or Python.
• Secure data models with object and row-level security.
• Document best practices and promote their adoption across the team.
• Address data integrity issues and optimize pipelines.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about issues and solutions.
• Optimize data transfer costs and throughput.
• Continuously monitor and improve pipeline performance.
