Job summary

CALB (Europe) S.A in Sines, Portugal, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our construction team. You will manage projects, review drawings, supervise units, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of related experience, a civil engineering degree, strong English, and the ability to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages construction projects, including management of design units, construction units, supervision units, service companies, etc., and coordination with local government.
• Participates in project pre-budget preparation, project bidding and other civil engineering related business management.
• Reviews civil engineering drawings, changes review, technical plan preparation and other technical management work.
• Focus on controlling quality, schedule and cost of capital construction and solving professional/technical problems.
• Organizes personnel to conduct preliminary inspections, coordinates completion acceptance, reviews data and settlements.
• After construction, maintains and repairs facilities and manages renovation work related to civil engineering.
