JobCenter in Almada, Portugal is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to assist in design, construction, and maintenance of civil projects under supervision. You will conduct site investigations, perform calculations, and prepare reports and drawings.

You will collaborate with a team, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, liaise with clients and suppliers, and help prepare technical specifications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of civil engineering experience or internship.
• Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and health & safety standards.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese language skills preferred.

Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer to assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. Based in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, performing calculations and analysis, and preparing reports and drawings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for construction materials
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior engineers
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and health & safety standards
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers as needed

Requirements:
