VirtualWorks Hub is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects from conception to completion in Almada, Portugal. You will create detailed plans, conduct site surveys, design structures and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years' experience, with strong AutoCAD proficiency and project management capabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed project plans and timelines.
• Conduct site surveys to gather information for project design.
• Design structures and determine appropriate materials and methods of construction.
• Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction workers.
