Job summary

Hiscox seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive business value by analysing complex needs and shaping functional solutions across multiple products and domains. You will lead discovery, supervise validation activities, and mentor colleagues, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operating models.

You will build strong relationships with Business, Product, Operations and Technology teams, manage and prioritise workstreams, and contribute to continuous improvement and capability growth

Role Purpose

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving business value by analysing complex business needs, shaping functional solutions, supporting delivery and ensuring successful adoption across business and technology teams.

The role combines strong analytical capabilities, functional expertise, stakeholder engagement and delivery leadership to support business transformation, operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple products, systems and business domains.

Senior Business Analysts operate with a high degree of autonomy, manage complex and ambiguous topics, influence key stakeholders, mentor colleagues and contribute to the maturity of the Business Analysis practice.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Lead the analysis of complex business problems, opportunities and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
