Jobgether seeks a Senior Backend Engineer for a Hyperliquid ecosystem role based in Portugal. You’ll own critical backend systems powering real-time trading, data pipelines, APIs, and high-volume databases.

You’ll work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse, optimising latency and reliability while delivering robust APIs for web and mobile clients. This fully remote position requires EST overlap across Europe or the USA.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong experience with TypeScript backends and APIs.
• Proven work on real-time data pipelines and low-latency systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in scalable services.
• Familiarity with WebSockets and event streaming.

Responsabilidades

• Own architecture and decisions for scalable backend systems.
• Build real-time data pipelines for order books and market events.
• Develop API infrastructure (GraphQL, WebSockets) for web/mobile clients.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse to support high-volume data.
• Optimize queries, caching, and data access patterns.
• Instrument services with metrics and on-call rotations.
• Resolve latency and production performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with frontend/mobile engineers to deliver data.
• Contribute to 0-to-1 development with ownership.
