Nitro is seeking a Senior Back End Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable services across a polyglot stack (Python, Go, Rust, Java) and own services end to end on AWS. You will collaborate with product teams to deliver robust, observable systems and drive performance and security improvements.

Based in Porto with a hybrid work model, you will mentor peers, shape internal tooling, and contribute to high-velocity development across Nitro's engineering teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficient in two or more of Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools.
• Strong systems fundamentals and performance tuning.
• Experience designing REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Excellent communication in English.
