Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a senior backend engineer to architect, design, and maintain core services powering our CRM and marketing platforms. You will craft scalable data models, write high-performance SQL, and develop robust APIs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent user experiences.

You will join a fast-moving, data-intensive environment where ownership matters: from planning through production, you will lead features and help evolve our backend architecture

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of backend development experience or an equivalent combination of education and practice.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning experience.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain core services for our CRM and Marketing platforms.
• Build scalable data models tailored to real estate industry needs.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database operations.
• Develop high-quality features with unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to improve user workflows and experience.
• Influence architectural decisions to support long-term maintainability and growth.
• Partner with frontend teams to deliver cohesive backend solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose backend improvements.
• Lead projects and own feature delivery from planning to production.
