Planet is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance backend services. You will shape API design, data models, and system architecture to support modern applications in a hybrid cloud environment.

You will implement RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript, design MongoDB schemas, optimize queries, and ensure scalable, observability-friendly code. Familiarity with Redis caching and AI-enabled data workflows is a plus.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with Node.js (TypeScript preferred) and REST APIs.
• MongoDB schema design, indexing, and aggregation.
• Experience building scalable backend systems for high-throughput workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Build backend services optimized for Angular frontend consumption.
• Ensure consistency in API structure and response formats.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Design efficient MongoDB schemas and indexing strategies.
• Optimize queries and aggregation pipelines for analytics and AI use cases.
• Architect systems for high throughput and low latency.
• Implement caching strategies (Redis or similar).
• Design stateless services for horizontal scalability.
