Bosch Car Multimedia seeks a hardware engineer to own the full lifecycle of electronic hardware designs for automotive platforms, from architecture to production. You will drive complex schematics, simulations, and BOMs while guiding cross-functional teams through design reviews and release decisions.

The role requires extensive analogue design expertise, strong knowledge of EMC and thermal standards, and proven leadership in cross-functional projects.

Qualificações

• Education: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar relevant technical field.
• Experience: Strong experience in electronic hardware development in automotive, with leadership on complex designs or platforms.
• Know-how: Deep understanding of analogue design principles and simulation tools.
• Knowledge: Hardware validation, release processes, and automotive standards (EMC, thermal, functional safety).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical reviews, root-cause analysis, and critical design decisions.
• Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Working style: Highly structured, systematic, proactive and risk-aware.
• Personality: Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; influence without authority.

Responsabilidades

• Cover the full lifecycle of hardware development, taking technical ownership from architecture to series production.
• Execute complex electronic hardware development tasks, including schematics, simulations, and BOM creation.
• Define and justify electronic hardware architecture with system and vehicle impact.
• Act as the technical authority for electronic hardware topics within the product line.
• Lead hardware design reviews, audits, and cross-functional technical discussions with international teams and customers.
• Represent hardware development in milestones, technical reviews, and release decisions with clear risk communication.
• Independently analyze and resolve complex hardware issues, including EMC, thermal, aging, and derating.
• Optimize designs for cost, robustness, safety, and manufacturability for industrialization and series production.
