Capgemini Portugal is seeking a seasoned QA Engineer with expertise in test automation to join our Porto team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios using Playwright, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborating with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders, you will drive quality throughout the software lifecycle, promote best practices, and help launch our Porto Tech Hub, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of SaaS/web technologies and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Fluent in English.

YOUR ROLE

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to ensure product quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Create and execute UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automated tests using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
• Define test scenarios, identify risks, and validate business requirements and critical user journeys.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness activities.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
• Promote QA best practices and contribute to a strong quality engineering culture.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of SaaS applications, web technologies, and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-first mindset.
• Fluent in English.
