Dellent is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to join a Porto-based, hybrid team. You will design and deliver C#/.NET applications integrated with production-ready ML pipelines, with a strong focus on NLP and LLM use cases in a distributed microservices environment.

You will fine-tune models, collaborate with product and data teams, ensure security and data privacy, and advocate for best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.

Qualificações

• 5+ years hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and NLP/LLM technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to work in a project in Porto (hybrid).

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science, with strong knowledge of Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Hands‑on experience with NLP and LLM technologies, including Hugging Face, GPT, Transformers, and the development or fine‑tuning of AI models.
• Strong knowledge of Azure or AWS, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI/CD practices, with experience deploying and operating custom AI/ML models.
• Solid understanding of Trusted AI, API security, data privacy, and software engineering best practices, combined with strong problem‑solving skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality C#/.NET applications alongside production‑ready Machine Learning and AI pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions and innovative AI/ML applications, with a focus on NLP and LLM use cases.
• Fine‑tune, deploy, optimize, and monitor pre‑trained AI models for specific business and product requirements.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), analyze complex datasets, and contribute to R&D initiatives exploring new AI technologies and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross‑functional teams, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, maintain technical documentation, and ensure software and AI deliverables meet quality and SLA requirements.
