Dellent is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a project in the business investment banking and financial services area, with a tech hub in Portugal. The role is hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, offering exposure to Python backend and React frontend, with emphasis on scalable architectures and data modeling.

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent IT background.
• 6 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured technical designs.
• Experience in software architecture and scalable web app design.
• Proficiency in Python (Backend) and React (Frontend).
• Strong SQL skills for designing schemas and complex queries.
• Linux command knowledge for troubleshooting and environment navigation.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, automated deployment pipelines; XLRelease/XLDeploy a plus.
• Good Git workflows knowledge.
• English working proficiency (B2/C1); French a plus but not mandatory.

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent IT background;
• 6 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience;
• Excellent capability to read, comprehend, and translate complex functional requirements into structured technical designs;
• Strong experience in software architecture. You know how to structure web applications and model data, considering security and performance at all time;
• Technical comprehension of Python (Backend) and React (Frontend) technologies, in order to spot logic errors, memory/performance issues, or anti-patterns in AI-generated code;
• Strong proficiency in SQL (ability to design schemas and optimize complex aggregating queries);
• Good knowledge of Linux commands and environment (for navigating directories, checking system logs, and tracking processes to troubleshoot issues);
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices, automated deployment workflows, and pipelines (experience with XLRelease and XLDeploy is a plus, but not mandatory);
• Good fundamental knowledge of Git workflows;
• English: Professional working proficiency (B2/C1 level) is required;
• French: (not mandatory) Professional working proficiency is a strong plus;
