Euronext is seeking a Software Developer focused on AI in Porto to design and implement AI-powered features for core trading applications used across markets. You will combine software engineering with AI/ML capabilities, contributing to the evolution of our technology landscape.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong Python skills, experience with cloud platforms and containerization, and a passion for governance, security, and scalable systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in hands-on software development with database and scalable system design.
• 2+ years in ML/Generative AI/Data Science with Python proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business requirements into AI-enabled applications and AI/LLM solutions.
• Design, fine-tune, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models for real-world applications.
• Develop prompts for LLMs and experiment with model parameters.
• Create proofs of concept (POCs) for R&D using notebooks and analyze complex datasets.
• Ensure AI governance, guardrails, auditing, and data privacy practices.
• Design scalable, cloud-native architectures, build and integrate AI solutions into business line applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.

Join Euronext as a Software Developer focused on AI

You will play a key role in designing and implementing new functionalities to support the delivery of core trading applications used across Euronext markets, international markets and multilateral trading facilities (MTFs). You will bring expertise in both software development and artificial intelligence, contributing to the evolution of our technology landscape. The position will be based in Porto.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional applications and innovative AI/LLM solutions
• Design, fine-tune, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models for real-world applications
• Develop and refine prompts for LLM-based solutions (prompt engineering) and experiment with model parameters (e.g., temperature, top-p)
• Create proofs of concept (POCs) for R&D using notebooks (e.g., Jupyter) and analyze complex datasets
• Ensure AI governance, implementing guardrails, auditing, and secure usage best practices
• Design scalable, cloud-native architectures, build and integrate AI solutions into business line applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with solid database and scalable system design knowledge
• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science, with good proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with AI model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and LLM frameworks/tools (GPT, Transformers, Hugging Face)
• Strong cloud experience with AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock) or Azure equivalents
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines
• Solid grasp of trusted AI practices, API security, AI guardrails, and data privacy
• Excellent problem-solving skills, Agile/Scrum proficiency, and fluent English

Nice to Have

• Relevant cloud or AI certifications (AWS/Azure)
• Experience building production-grade AI solutions
• Exposure to MLOps and AI governance frameworks
• C# with .net or Java with Spring Boot
