Dellent in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer for a hybrid role. You will design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications alongside production-ready ML/AI pipelines, with a focus on NLP/LLM use cases in a multicultural European team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in C#/.NET and 2+ years in ML, plus strong Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Hugging Face, GPT/Transformers, and cloud experience (Azure/AWS).

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science.
• Strong knowledge of Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with NLP/LLM technologies (Hugging Face, GPT, Transformers).
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI/CD.
• Understanding of Trusted AI, data privacy, API security, and Agile/Scrum; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C#/.NET applications alongside production-ready ML/AI pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions and AI/ML apps, focusing on NLP/LLM use cases.
• Fine-tune, deploy, optimize, and monitor pre-trained AI models for business needs.
• Develop POCs, analyze datasets, and contribute to R&D exploring new AI technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, maintain docs, and ensure quality and SLA.

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to work in a project in Porto (hybrid).

Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with5+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Minimum of2 years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science, with strong knowledge of Python and AI frameworks such asTensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience withNLP and LLM technologies, including Hugging Face, GPT, Transformers, and the development or fine-tuning of AI models.
• Strong knowledge ofAzure or AWS, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI/CD practices, with experience deploying and operating custom AI/ML models.
• Solid understanding ofTrusted AI, API security, data privacy, and software engineering best practices, combined with strong problem-solving skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and fluent English.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-qualityC#/.NET applicationsalongside production-ready Machine Learning and AI pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions and innovativeAI/ML applications, with a focus on NLP and LLM use cases.
• Fine-tune, deploy, optimize, and monitor pre-trained AI models for specific business and product requirements.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), analyze complex datasets, and contribute to R&D initiatives exploring new AI technologies and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, maintain technical documentation, and ensure software and AI deliverables meet quality and SLA requirements.
