Job summary

Accenture Lisbon is seeking Mid and Senior AI Engineers to contribute to the development, operation, and improvement of data and AI platforms. The role focuses on reliability, performance, and evolution of AI solutions within a hybrid work model.

Candidates should have 3-8 years of experience, fluency in Portuguese and English (B2), and strong skills in AI, Python, and MLOps. This position offers opportunities to impact across multiple levels and teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI, Software Engineering, or related areas.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AI safety, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop AI-powered solutions using state-of-the-art ML and generative AI technologies.
• Build and optimize LLM-based applications, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Design and integrate vector databases, prompt engineering strategies, and tool-calling mechanisms.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and platform scalability initiatives.
