Job summary

Accenture Lisbon seeks an AI/ML Senior Manager Engineer to influence multiple teams and deliver innovative AI/ML solutions. You will design scalable, production-ready platforms, build data pipelines, and guide architecture across business units with a strong emphasis on operational excellence.

Hybrid working model in Lisbon. Ideal candidates bring extensive AI/ML expertise, experience with large-scale datasets, and leadership in MLOps and data engineering.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based AI services and enterprise AI solution architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of database architecture, data modeling, and scalable data platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying deep learning models, LLMs, and AI-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, data engineering, and production-grade AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.
• Advanced English communication skills (minimum, B2).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML systems using cloud-based AI services.
• Build scalable data pipelines supporting model training and production environments.
• Customize and apply deep learning and Generative AI models per business needs.
• Research and develop advanced algorithms, models, and simulations for HPC applications.
• Work with large-scale datasets and apply data preprocessing for high-quality training data.
• Design and maintain data storage/retrieval systems to support ML models and knowledge management.
• Define and evolve database architectures for scalable, secure AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infra, data, and computing needs.
• Provide technical leadership and influence architectural decisions across teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify business opportunities.
