Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Portugal seeks an AI/ML Technical Architect Lead to shape strategy and architecture while hands-on contributing to model development, deployment, and operationalization. You will drive secure, scalable AI across regulated environments, guiding cross-functional teams and advising senior stakeholders on responsible AI practices.

You will leverage AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, and modern ML frameworks to deliver production-grade solutions, ensuring explainability, compliance, and robust

Qualifications

• 10+ years in AI/ML, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years designing and deploying AI/ML in production.
• Hands-on AI/ML development across the lifecycle.
• Strong Python, R, or Java programming skills.
• Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle, and monitoring.
• Experience in secure, regulated environments and compliance.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and reside in the US previously.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML strategy, architecture, and modernization across programs.
• Design and deploy scalable AI/ML models for decision-support.
• Guide predictive analytics, automation, and intelligent systems.
• Provide hands-on leadership through full AI lifecycle.
• Oversee data engineering, MLOps, model lifecycle, validation, and bias mitigation.
• Ensure secure integration in enterprise environments with governance.
• Support security risk management, audits, and compliance.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders and leadership.
