Amgen Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and operate end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment, using Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines, or OpenAI SDK. You will containerize models with Docker/Kubernetes, expose secure REST or gRPC APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure low latency, observability, and governance.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in AI/ML and enterprise software.
• Expert knowledge of GenAI tooling and SaaS/PaaS offerings.
• Proficiency in Python and Java; containerization; cloud and DevOps/MLOps.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer end-to-end ML pipelines with Kubeflow, SageMaker or OpenAI SDK.
• Harden research code into production-grade micro-services and expose secure APIs.
• Build full-stack AI applications with lightweight UI components and workflow layers.
• Optimize performance and cost; tune GPU/CPU auto-scaling to meet SLA targets.
• Instrument observability, drift detection and bias monitoring with Security teams.
• Contribute reusable platform components and evangelize best practices across squads.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prototype and benchmark new algorithms.
