Match Profiler seeks a Senior Agentic AI Engineer in Lisbon to lead AI agent projects with hands-on development and architectural ownership. The role covers design patterns, production-ready practices, and security-focused AI solutions, in a flexible hybrid setup.

You will work with LangChain/LangGraph and other AI frameworks, building scalable agent services, memory strategies, and observability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Qualificações

• Experience leading AI agent and service engineering initiatives.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Kotlin with good design patterns.
• Guide engineering teams through CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
• Cloud-native app development and deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including APIs and scalable services.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, vector stores, and semantic retrieval.
• Experience with agent architectures covering orchestration, tool integration, memory strategies, observability, and guardrails.
• Experience with AI data and search technologies (SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, vector databases).
• Security and Responsible AI focus, including data protection and risk management.
• Strong English skills.

Senior Agentic AI Engineer – Flexible Hybrid (Lisbon)

What we are looking for

• Experience leading AI agent and service engineering initiatives, with hands-on development and technical ownership of architecture, delivery quality, and engineering standards.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Kotlin, including software design patterns, maintainable code structure, automated testing, and production-ready engineering practices.
• Ability to guide engineering teams through CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation, code reviews, GitHub/GitLab workflows, and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP, including APIs, integrations, scalable services, and operational readiness.

Technology skills

• Hands-on experience designing and delivering Generative AI and LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, structured outputs, tool/function calling, evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience building Agentic AI services with LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, Microsoft Agent Framework, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to define reliable, scalable, and secure agent architectures covering orchestration, tool integration, memory strategies, observability, error handling, guardrails, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with AI data and search technologies, including SQL/NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure AI Search, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic retrieval.
• Strong focus on Security and Responsible AI, including secure AI design, data protection, model and agent risk management, compliance considerations, and responsible use of AI systems.
• Very good English skills
