Apex Group Ltd in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Consultant within Corporate Solutions to deliver high-quality accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance services for local and international clients. You will collaborate with clients, mentor junior staff and help grow the Corporate Solutions business in Portugal.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and a pathway to broaden experience within a global organisation while developing technical and client management skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado) or actively progressing towards qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, including strong exposure to Portuguese tax compliance and Portuguese GAAP.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the accounting and bookkeeping activities for a portfolio of Portuguese and international clients.
• Review accounting records and ensure compliance with Portuguese GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements.
• Prepare and submit VAT, IRC, IES and other regulatory filings.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks and other third parties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
