Job summary

Colt Technology Services is seeking a detail-oriented security control assurance specialist to validate the design, implementation, and effectiveness of controls across the organization. You will test, monitor, and document controls, collaborate with IT, security engineering, and business teams, and support audits to mitigate risk while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in information security, IT audit, or GRC.
• Proven experience with security control testing and assurance activities.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical controls and translate into business risk.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute control assurance activities, including testing and validation of security controls.
• Develop and maintain control testing methodologies, scripts, and procedures.
• Perform periodic and continuous control monitoring to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps, deficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits; provide evidence and walkthroughs.
• Document control testing results and risk implications; produce assurance reports.
