Leading International Banking Group in Lisbon is seeking a Securities Settlement Officer to manage the settlement lifecycle of securities transactions, from pre-settlement checks to post-settlement activities. You will follow up on transaction status, assist with accounting for securities transactions and related events, and ensure records and reference data are accurate.

Strong Excel skills and a background in Finance or Economics are required.

Formación

Solid command of Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced functionalities.
Background in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
Understanding of securities processing, settlement workflows, and custody activities.

Responsabilidades

Manage the processing of securities transactions throughout the settlement lifecycle, from pre-settlement checks to post-settlement activities.
Follow up on transaction status and support the resolution of settlement-related discrepancies.
Contribute to clearing and securities safekeeping operations.
Ensure that legal records and supporting documentation are properly maintained.
Assist with the accounting treatment of securities transactions and related corporate events.
Handle incoming requests and provide clear, accurate responses within agreed deadlines.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reference data.
