Job summary

EDP in Amadora is seeking a Networks Automation & Telecontrol Engineer to join our team. You will test and maintain Control and Protection systems, support SCADA communications, and contribute to reliable energy networks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, preferably with a specialisation in Energy.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Availability to join an on-call rotation to support the electricity network outside normal working hours (mandatory).
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Test and assess Control and Protection systems, as well as the communication infrastructure supporting E-Redes SCADA;
• Support investment projects involving the replacement and installation of new Control and Protection systems;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Control and Protection systems, with a particular focus on Protection systems;
• Respond to emergency situations to troubleshoot and repair Control and Protection systems, helping ensure network reliability and continuity of service;
• Support the technical Energy Automation field team in the execution of activities and resolution of technical issues.
