Capgemini Portugal is seeking a hands-on SAP Data Cloud specialist to operate and monitor BDC and Datasphere environments, ensuring stability and performance. You will manage user access, roles, and authorizations, and coordinate data integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, transport management, and documentation skills, and involves collaborating with data engineers, consultants, and infra teams to maintain secure, compliant platform operations.

• Strong experience with SAP Datasphere.
• Proven experience in SAP and non-SAP data integration and interfaces.
• Experience in user, role, authorization, and access administration.

YOUR ROLE

Operate and monitor SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere environments to ensure system stability and performance. Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations in alignment with security and governance requirements. Govern user access, roles, and authorizations in accordance with security, compliance, and segregation-of-duties requirements, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to internal governance standards. Monitor and support the execution of data integration processes, pipelines, and system interfaces across SAP and non-SAP sources.

Manage lifecycle of SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere environments, including tenant administration, platform configuration, release and upgrade coordination, capacity planning, and performance monitoring. Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination of issue resolution with technical and functional teams. Support transport management, system housekeeping, and release activities. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configuration records.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control standards. Collaborate with data engineers, consultants, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth platform operations and integrations.

YOUR PROFILE

Hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). Strong experience with SAP Datasphere. Proven experience with SAP and non-SAP data integration, pipelines, and system interfaces. Practical experience with user, role, authorization, and access administration. Solid hands-on experience with platform monitoring, performance management, troubleshooting, transport management, and system housekeeping. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, consultants, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
