Job summary

Richemont is seeking a talented Sap Ariba Business Analyst to drive the go-live of the Buying and Guided Buying module and design future enhancements. You will bridge business needs with product capabilities, analyze processes, capture requirements, and configure standard rules within SAP Ariba and related SaaS tools.

The role requires strong experience with end-to-end SAP Ariba implementations, catalog management, requisitioning, approvals, and integration with SAP ECC.

Qualifications

Experience with full lifecycle implementations (minimum 2–3 projects as main analyst)
5+ years leading and executing multiple end-to-end SAP Ariba Buying implementations
Proficiency configuring SAP Ariba Buying: catalog management, requisitioning, approvals, orders, invoicing
Experience customizing Ariba to meet business requirements
Expertise with Ariba administration and SAP ECC backend integration (ARIBA <-> CIG)
Knowledge of ARIBA Buying integration with SAP Business Network and integration technologies (e.g., CIG, cXML, APIs)

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes end-to-end and translate needs into functional requirements
Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases
Configure rules, master data, and settings in SAP Ariba Buying or SaaS tools

Richemont is looking for a talented and highly motivated Sap Ariba Business Analyst that bridges business needs and product capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba consultant to take over the go-live of the Buying and Guided Buying module, design and implement areas to come.

The candidate will bridge business needs and product capabilities.

The candidate must be able to analyze processes, captures requirements, design functional specifications, and configure standard rules within the product’s solutions (SAP, SaaS, rules engines).

As a Product Business Analyst, you must ensure that business problems are framed correctly and that product changes remain coherent, scalable, and aligned with product guardrails

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business analysis & requirements

Analyze business processes end-to-end
Translate business needs into functional requirements
Document user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases
Challenge requests to match product strategy and standards

Functional configuration

Configure rules, master data and functional settings within SAP, SaaS or workflow tools
Validate configuration through testing & scenarios
Ensure configuration adheres to product constraints and guardrails

Collaboration with Product Owners

Support prioritization and backlog refinement
Provide process insights and impact analysis
Validate feasibility with technical teams and SMEs

Testing & quality

Prepare test cases and validation steps
Support UAT with business users

Continuous improvement

Suggest optimizations to processes and user experience
Document functional knowledge and contribute to playbooks

Security & scalability

Ensure API governance (auth, quotas, throttling, versioning)
Ensure integrations are scalable and future-proof

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience

Experience with Full Lifecycle Implementations (Minimum 2 to 3 implementations projects as main analyst implementation).
5 year + of experience in leading and executing multiple end-to-end SAP Ariba Buying implementations.
Proficiency in configuring all aspects of the SAP Ariba Buying module, including catalog management, requisitioning, approvals, order management, and invoicing.
Experience in customizing Ariba to meet specific business requirements.
Expertise with Ariba administration/maintenance and SAP ECC backend integration (ARIBA <->CIG)

Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge about SAP ARIBA Buying and Guided Buying module, including PR/PO validation, Workflow, procurement policies and catalog management
Advanced knowledge of specific configuration (non standard) in SAP ARIBA (guided) BUYING (UX customization, process logic customization, field mapping customization)
Knowledge of ARIBA Buying integration with the SAP Business network
Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. CIG, cXML, APIs).
Knowledge of SAP ECC backend procurement processes and configuration (SAP MM module)
Familiarity with ECC backend finance integration with procurement flows
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing and monitoring SAP ECC landscapes, including system configuration and changes
Knowledge and experience on Agile methodology is a real plus.

Strong analytical and problem-framing abilities.

Project Facilitation:

Proven ability to lead and facilitate design workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
Experience in documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Experience in configuring SAP ARIBA Buying based on functional specification.
Experience in developing and executing test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Defect management and resolution.
End-to-End Procurement lifecycle flows (indirect and services).
Purchase requisition to purchase order.
Confirmation/ship notice/Good receipt.
Free text / catalog / spot buy procurement channels.
Downpayment.

Functional Integration with:

Supplier Management flows
Sourcing flows

Knowledge on Principles of Supplier collaboration functionalities and Platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards related to Procurement, such as industry-specific data regulations (e.g., SOX for financial data).
