Job summary

Richemont is seeking a Product Solution Engineer to bridge business needs with product capabilities across SAP, SaaS, and rules engines. You will analyze processes, capture requirements, and design functional specifications while configuring standard rules within the product solutions.

You will ensure business problems are framed correctly and that changes are coherent, scalable, and aligned with guardrails, collaborating with procurement teams and IT specialists in a global context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years SAP project implementation experience with global scope, stock procurement incl. subcontracting.
• General knowledge of end-to-end supply chain flows.
• Experience with SAP ECC procurement processes and integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes end-to-end and translate needs into requirements.
• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Configure rules and master data in SAP, SaaS, or workflow tools.

MAIN PURPOSE

Richemont is looking for a talented and highly motivated Product Solution Engineer that bridges business needs and product capabilities. The candidate must be able to analyze processes, capture requirements, design functional specifications, and configure standard rules within the product’s solutions (SAP, SaaS, rules engines).

The candidate should ensure that business problems are framed correctly and that product changes remain coherent, scalable, and aligned with product guardrails.

As a Product Solution Engineer, you must understand the processes and stakes of Direct Procurement (including Subcontracting and Supplier collaboration) of Buying departments in our internal manufactures as well as our entities with fully outsourced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Business analysis & requirements

• Analyze business processes end-to-end
• Translate business needs into functional requirements
• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases
• Challenge requests to match product strategy and standards

Functional configuration

• Configure rules, master data and functional settings within SAP, SaaS or workflow tools
• Validate configuration through testing & scenarios
• Ensure configuration adheres to product constraints and guardrails

Collaboration with Product Owners

• Support prioritization and backlog refinement
• Provide process insights and impact analysis
• Validate feasibility with technical teams and SMEs

Testing & quality

• Prepare test cases and validation steps
• Support UAT with business users

Continuous improvement

• Suggest optimizations to processes and user experience.
• Document functional knowledge and contribute to playbooks.

Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 4 years+ of SAP Projects Implementation / Global experience on ECC on Stock Procurement, including Subcontracting.
• General experience and knowledge of the Supply Chain flows end-to-end.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SAP ECC Procurement processes, technical:
• Configure SAP ECC.
• Design integration solutions and write technical specifications.
• Code debugging capability is a plus.
• Experience in Event Driven Architecture, API’s, Federated Platforms.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology is a plus.

Functional Skills

• Substantial knowledge in Procurement flows in general:
• Direct Procurement processes and stakes.
• Subcontracting fundamentals
• Vendor collaboration processes
• Good knowledge on Supplier collaboration processes (PO, ASN…).
• General knowledge on Global Supply Chain. Ability to integrate / cooperate with adjacent modules/domains: manufacturing (PP, QM, COPC) and distribution (SD, FI).
• Sensibility / Appetence on traceability aspects (batch management, serial number).
