Job summary

Bosch Group Portugal, Braga, is seeking a Samples Procurer to ensure availability of samples, new parts, materials and tools across projects. You will work in the Sample Shop, coordinating procurement with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholders to support reliable execution.

Responsibilities include planning purchasing, managing SAP-based processes, monitoring deliveries, negotiating terms, and reporting on material status and risks.

Qualifications

• Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, material planning, or similar.
• Knowledge of SAP and purchasing or material management processes.
• MS Office and standard digital tools proficiency.
• English communication with international suppliers and stakeholders.
• Structured, organized and solution-oriented work style.
• Collaborative, proactive team player with hands-on mindset.

• Provide clear reporting on material availability, purchasing status and risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing and sample procurement processes.

Your contribution to something big:

As a Samples Procurer, you will play an important role in ensuring that samples, new parts, materials and tools are available in line with project requirements and deadlines. Acting as a key contact within the Sample Shop, you will coordinate procurement activities and work closely with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholders to support reliable project execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the procurement of new parts, samples and tools according to project requirements and timelines.
• Plan and prioritize purchasing activities based on project needs and deadlines.
• Manage purchasing and material-related activities in SAP, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Support sample planning and procurement processes for A, B and C samples.
• Monitor material availability, deliveries and open purchase orders, proactively identifying potential risks or delays.
• Negotiate prices, delivery dates and purchasing conditions with suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers, project teams and internal functions to ensure timely delivery and alignment with quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve procurement and delivery issues, following actions through to closure.
• Provide clear and timely reporting on material availability, purchasing status and potential risks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing, material tracking and sample procurement processes.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

Education
Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.

Experience
Experience in procurement, purchasing, material planning, supply chain or a comparable function. Experience working with suppliers and supporting project-related procurement activities is an advantage.

Know-how
Knowledge of SAP and purchasing or material management processes. Understanding of sample planning and procurement processes, ideally including A, B and C samples. Good negotiation, supplier management and material tracking skills. Confident user of MS Office and standard digital tools.

Languages
Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders.

Working Style and Methods
Structured, organized and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize purchasing requirements according to project deadlines. Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and proactively addressing supply or delivery risks.
