Atlas Copco Group in Porto seeks a Sales Engineer to connect ABAC and Puska compressed air technologies with the Portuguese market. You will combine technical acumen with sales skills to expand our distributor network and build lasting business relationships across Portugal.

You will work with sales leadership and engineering teams to tailor solutions for customer needs, enhance satisfaction, and drive revenue growth while representing the brands at distributor meetings and industry events.

Qualificações

• Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience in compressed air, industrial equipment, technical products or distributor-led B2B sales is highly valued.
• Ability to understand customer applications, interpret technical requirements, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Confidence discussing product performance, specifications and value propositions with distributors and end customers.
• Commercial experience in business development, channel management or technical sales, preferably within the Portuguese industrial market.
• Availability to travel regularly across Portugal and a valid driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• As a Sales Engineer, your daily activities will center around managing and developing the market for ABAC and Puska compressed air solutions in Portugal.
• You will actively engage with our established distributor network to enhance their capabilities and performance while scouting for and onboarding new partners in key regions and customer segments.
• Provide technical and commercial assistance, ensuring partners can position and sell products tailored to end-user needs.
• Collaborate with the broader Iberian team, sharing insights and aligning strategies with colleagues in Portugal and Spain.
• Represent the brands at distributor meetings, customer visits, and industry events, driving market expansion and brand visibility.

Your role

In your role as a Sales Engineer at Lusoar, you will be a crucial link between innovative compressed air technologies and the dynamic Portuguese market. You will leverage your blend of technical expertise and sales proficiency to drive the expansion of our distinguished ABAC and Puska brands. Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with sales leadership and engineering teams to craft and execute strategic plans that address customer needs while fostering long-lasting business relationships. By championing customer-focused solutions, you will bolster customer satisfaction and contribute significantly to the company’s market presence and revenue growth.

Technical Background and Experience

• Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience in compressed air, industrial equipment, technical products or distributor-led B2B sales is highly valued.
