agap2 indústria is seeking a motivated Safety Technician (freelance) to join our team in Portugal. The role is on-site, 3 days a week, focusing on implementing and maintaining Health & Safety standards across the manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree in Health and Safety and proven experience in industrial settings, with a proactive mindset to improve processes and mentor others. This position offers flexible collaboration and ongoing professional growth.

• Proven experience in working in industrial environments.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and enforce Health & Safety standards on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
• Support risk assessments and safety audits.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to promote safety culture.
• Maintain health and safety documentation and reporting.

We are looking for a motivated Safety Technician (freelance) to join our team. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Technical degree in Health and Safety (level VI);
• Proven experience in working in industrial environments;
• Embrace and drive change, adapting to evolving project requirements while identifying opportunities for improvement;
• Support the development of others, encouraging knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous professional growth;
• Demonstrate a strong ability to learn and adapt, responding effectively to new challenges, processes, technologies, and working environments.
  

The main responsibilities are:

• Monitor and support the implementation of Health & Safety standards across the manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements;
• Conduct regular shop floor inspections, proactively identifying unsafe conditions, operational deviations, and opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, supporting the definition, implementation, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions;
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and support teams to promote a strong safety culture and encourage safe working practices across all operational areas;
• Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace evaluations, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and effectively controlled;
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures, contributing to a safe, efficient, and sustainable working environment;
• Assist in maintaining health and safety documentation, records, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  

Regime: On-site

Period: 3 days a week (for freelancer)
