Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with current regulations.

The ideal candidate will proactively implement effective policies and promote a culture of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with current regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents related to workplace safety and propose preventive and corrective measures.
• Deliver training sessions and awareness programs on safety practices for employees.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and training programs.
• Ensure the availability and proper condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with various departments to strengthen the culture of workplace safety.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all legal obligations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing emergency plans and evacuation procedures.

Requirements

• CAPVI certification in Health and Safety at Work (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Health and Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the construction industry (minimum of 2 years).
• Valid driver’s license and availability to travel across Portugal.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
