Siemens Mobility in Aveiro, Portugal, is seeking a Rust Developer (m/f/d) to join our software development center. You will work on a Rust backend paired with a React frontend, deployed on Kubernetes, with GitLab CI/CD and monitoring tools in a multi-country team.

The role emphasizes performance, secure development and high availability, offering growth opportunities within the Siemens Mobility ecosystem and adjacent technologies.

Qualificações

• Degree in informatics, computer science or similar.
• Experience with Rust, Java/Kotlin, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SaaS applications and cloud-based microservice architecture is a plus.
• Experience with the build / deployment pipeline.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Proactive, independent and curious.

Responsabilidades

• Work on the Rust backend and web interface for configuring the pricing system.
• Improve performance for asynchronous requests in a high availability system.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy, monitor and refine services.
• Contribute to code quality, tooling and overall development processes.
