Siemens Mobility operates a Software Development Center in Aveiro, Portugal, seeking a Rust Developer (m/f/d) to join the DevOps team working on seat-finding and pricing systems for trains and buses. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across a Java/Kotlin/Go/JS tech stack.

Qualificações

• Degree in informatics, computer science or similar.
• Experience with Rust, Java/Kotlin, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SaaS applications and cloud-based microservice architecture is a plus.
• Experience with build/deployment pipelines.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Work on software to find and book seats in trains and buses of major international brands.
• Improve code to handle many asynchronous requests with high availability and high performance.
• Build a management web interface for configuring the pricing system.
