Job summary

The NIF seeks a skilled RF Engineer to develop RF systems and instruments for ground, airborne and satellite products. You will model electromagnetic behavior, design components, and work with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software teams to validate RF solutions.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in RF design, EM theory, and RF testing, with strong Portuguese and English language skills, and a collaborative mindset in a dynamic portfolio environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in antenna/RF technologies design, testing and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (Filters, RF PCB layout, Power amplifiers) to design and evaluate performance using EM tools.
• Expertise in RF instrumentation (Spectrum analysers, VNA, Signal Generators, etc.).
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems.
• Prepare test plans and test reports and perform RF Lab Tests.
