Job summary

Tekever is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic systems for airborne SAR payloads. You will mentor juniors and collaborate with RF, FPGA, Software and Mechanical teams to drive products from concept to production.

The role requires a Master’s in Electronic Engineering, 7+ years of hardware experience, and fluent Portuguese/English (C2). A dynamic, collaborative environment and competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in electronic hardware development.
• Experience in designing digital and analogue electronic circuits.
• Proven experience delivering products from concept through production.
• Strong knowledge of analogue, digital and mixed-signal design.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, DDR Memory, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, PCIe).
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analysers, Logic analysers, Network analysers, Signal generators).
• Knowledge of electronics design, communication protocols and BUS systems (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, …).
• Language: Portuguese and English at C2 level; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of electronic hardware for SAR payloads, ground systems and supporting equipment.
• Define hardware architectures and allocate requirements across subsystems.
• Perform technical trade-off analyses and component selection.
• Review hardware designs and ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers across the lifecycle.
