Job summary

Tekever in Portugal is seeking an RF Engineer to join the SAR Product team to develop RF systems for ground, airborne and satellite products. You will report to the Product Technical Lead and collaborate across hardware, FPGA, DSP and software teams.

Qualifications

• More than one year of experience in antenna/RF design, testing and qualification.
• Advanced understanding of electromagnetic theory and materials properties.
• Familiarity with digital signal processing and software-defined radios.
• Focus on requirements and problems analysis.
• Capable of writing and consulting documentation.
• Experience in automated test.

Responsibilities

• Create electromagnetic simulation models of RF hardware (Filters, RF PCB layout, Power amplifiers) to design and evaluate performance (Altair, HFSS, TICRA, ADS).
• Expertise in RF instrumentation (Spectrum analysers, VNA, Signal Generators).
• Work with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems.
• Prepare test plans and test reports and perform RF Lab Tests.
