Position Mission
Maximize the hotel’s revenue through the strategic management of pricing, inventory, and distribution channels, ensuring the best balance between occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR. The role is dedicated exclusively to one hotel, with full focus on its demand behavior, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
Pricing Management & Strategy
- Define, implement, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly pricing strategies.
- Manage individual reservations and respond to booking and customer inquiries.
- Analyze demand, pick-up, cancellations, and booking patterns to optimize rates.
- Set restrictions (minimum stays, closures, releases, etc.) based on forecasts and city events.
Inventory Management
- Control room availability and allocation across all channels.
- Ensure rate parity and consistency between PMS, Channel Manager, and OTAs.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Reservations to guarantee proper inventory management.
Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare performance reports: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, segmentation, channels, forecast, and pick-up.
- Conduct comparative analyses against historical data, budget, and competitors (benchmarking).
- Present results and recommendations to the Hotel Management and Commercial Management.
Distribution Channel Management
- Optimize the hotel’s presence on OTAs, the official website, and direct channels.
- Review and update content, photos, descriptions, and promotions.
- Negotiate specific conditions with partners and agencies when required.
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term occupancy and revenue forecasts.
- Participate in the development of the hotel’s annual budget.
- Identify growth opportunities and risks related to demand fluctuations.
Promotions & Packages
- Create and activate special offers, packages, and campaigns adapted to seasonality and the Lisbon market.
- Coordinate with Marketing to ensure consistency in communication and visibility.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Front Office, Marketing, and Hotel Management.
- Align strategies with Operations to anticipate occupancy needs and city events.
Required Professional Profile
Education
Tourism, Hospitality Management, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in Revenue, Reservations, or Commercial roles within hospitality.
- Previous experience in urban or independent hotels in Lisbon is an advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in PMS, Channel Manager, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of OTAs, booking engines, and distribution strategies.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
