Jobgether is assisting a partner company in Portugal to hire a Technical Lead - GPU Infrastructure. The role is fully remote and focuses on architecting and delivering a large-scale GPU platform.

You will lead a distributed team, drive Slurm and Kubernetes-based workloads, ensure observability, and collaborate with hardware vendors and research partners to shape the platform's evolution.

Qualificações

• 8+ years hands-on engineering experience with at least 3 years leading infrastructure teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive hands-on Slurm production experience (slurmctld, slurmdbd, partitions, QoS).
• Experience operating HPC/GPU clusters for research or model development.
• Strong Linux systems expertise and kernel-level knowledge.
• Proven production Kubernetes experience (control planes, upgrades, multi-tenancy).
• Experience with GPU fleets on bare metal (driver/CUDA lifecycles).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end platform architecture and delivery.
• Lead a distributed engineering team across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and docs.
• Define engineering standards, conduct reviews, manage releases and growth feedback.
• Design and operate a managed Slurm service for research workloads.
• Oversee GPU isolation and bare-metal GPU infrastructure operations.
• Define multi-tenant inference architecture and autoscaling strategies.
• Establish observability across control plane, GPU fleet, and apps.
• Lead incident response and on-call readiness for a lean team.
• Interface with infrastructure partners and hardware providers.
