Rain is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a multidisciplinary squad of backend, frontend, and QA engineers, owning the foundational systems for transactions and financial movement. You will shape architectural direction and lead cross‑functional collaboration in a fully distributed microservices environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience (2+ in leadership), strong Go or Python skills, and deep expertise in PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional software experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role, with ownership of projects.
• Experience designing distributed systems with trade-offs in consistency vs availability.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to targets.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage tech refinements and productivity.
• Design and implement reliable systems in a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for internal portals.
• Create reusable code and libraries to support future projects at scale.
• Enforce observability with logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
• Document architectures, APIs, workflows, and configurations in detail.
• Monitor Rain systems for performance and scalability opportunities.
• Coordinate across teams to align priorities and ensure smooth SDLC workflow.
