Emerging Travel Group is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE engineer to own end-to-end observability for our infrastructure, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Hadoop. You will drive automatic DORA metric collection and high-level uptime dashboards, closing gaps in monitoring across distributed systems.

You will optimize alerting with Alertmanager, reduce alert fatigue, and act as the go-to expert for monitoring to free leaders from routine dashboard work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps/SRE with infrastructure monitoring focus.
• Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed storage.
• Skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript a plus.
• Understanding of SRE concepts: SLI/SLO/SLA and error budgets.

Responsabilités

• Develop end-to-end observability across stacks including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Big Data.
• Implement automatic collection of DORA metrics and health dashboards.
• Audit metrics to close gaps in monitoring, especially in K8s and storage.
• Optimize Alertmanager rules to catch incidents early.
• Serve as a single point of expertise to reduce dashboard/config tasks.
