Job summary

Axians in Portugal is seeking a Solutions Architect to design end-to-end ICT solutions across Cloud, On-Premises and Hybrid environments and lead bid responses to tenders.

You will work with sales, delivery teams and partners to shape winning offers and translate complex technical concepts into clear proposals while maintaining a customer-focused approach. This role supports international, remote work within the EU.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical consulting.
• Experience as Bid Manager or leading responses to tenders.
• Knowledge of cloud, networking, security and integration patterns.
• Ability to translate complex tech into clear proposals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency at C1 or higher.
• Willingness to travel within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Analyse technical trends, customer challenges and requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions aligning with technical and strategic goals.
• Act as Bid Manager for tenders and RFPs, coordinating response and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to shape solutions.
• Write tailored technical solutions and architecture documentation.
• Translate complex concepts into accessible customer language.
• Support the team through solution lifecycle including presentations and handover.
