Job summary

Darkroom seeks a Social Media Manager to own day-to-day strategy and execution across client accounts. You live inside culture and platforms, translating that into a content calendar that builds real communities.

You’ll collaborate with Associate Directors and Directors of Creative Strategy to shape calendars, brief creatives, and manage client relationships, ensuring on-brand, timely delivery. This fully remote role supports a team in EST; you’ll engage across platforms, lead community

Qualifications

• 3+ years building worlds on social with brands and engaged communities.
• Strong ability to read social metrics and translate into decisions.
• Deep understanding of culture and platform shifts across Meta/TikTok/Instagram.
• Experience briefing creatives effectively.
• Familiarity with AI tools in workflow.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day creative execution for organic social programs.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategy to plan the social calendar.
• Brief Designers and Editors on inventive content with actionable feedback.
• Lead community management to actively grow communities.
• Write copy for social posts, adapting tone by platform.
• Work with the creator team on UGC briefs and execution.
• Translate data into clear creative direction.
• Maintain high-volume output with timely delivery.
• Manage day-to-day client relationship and updates.
• Keep timelines and workflows organized.
