Job summary

Darkroom, a leading growth marketing firm, seeks a social content designer to own how we show up on social media across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X. You’ll design carousels, static posts, templates, and short‑form video graphics with a storytelling mindset.

You’ll build visual systems, collaborate with the VP of Marketing, and push the quality bar while delivering high‑output briefs. The role is remote with EST hours, requiring 3+ years in brand, marketing, or visual design and fluency in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design.
• Portfolio highlights social work: carousels, content series, platform-native CREATIVE.
• Strong typography and layout instincts for multiple formats.
• Fluency in Figma with scalable components and shared libraries.
• Designer-first mindset focused on social impact, not just branding.
• Organized, accountable and able to communicate design thinking clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own social content pipeline end-to-end: planning, storyboard, design and approvals.
• Design carousels, static posts, story templates, and short-form assets weekly.
• Build visual systems and content series with reusable templates.
• Hit content velocity targets while maintaining quality.
• Stay current with platform specs and in-feed trends.
• Track performance and iterate based on results.
• Manage workstreams, flag blockers, and meet deadlines.
• Create case study visuals and assets for presentations.
• Maintain Darkroom's brand system in Figma across assets.
