Jobgether in Portugal is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and evolve large-scale, customer-facing infrastructure. You will own core systems end-to-end—from architecture to production operations—ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency at scale.

You will collaborate with product engineering, security, and DevOps teams to design scalable services, improve observability, and mentor engineers in a remote-ready, fast-moving environment.

Qualificações

• 6–10 years in infra, platform, or backend in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Proven end-to-end ownership of a product or subsystem.
• IaC expert with Terraform or equivalent.
• Deep cloud fundamentals: networking, load balancing, containers, Kubernetes/EKS.
• Go or Python production-grade programming skills.
• Redis/ElastiCache production experience incl. clustering and failover.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and safe deployment practices.
• Self-driven with high ownership and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own an infrastructure product end-to-end from design to operation.
• Define objectives, align with business goals, identify risks.
• Translate requirements into pragmatic designs covering edge cases.
• Build secure, resilient, high-performing infrastructure.
• Develop developer-facing tooling to boost productivity.
• Manage infrastructure through code with Terraform.
• Collaborate with product teams to design scalable services.
• Participate in incident response and debugging.
• Improve monitoring and observability for stability and performance.
• Apply security-first mindset and conduct peer reviews.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and design sessions.
• Foster cross-team collaboration on architecture and priorities.
