SearchApi is seeking a Ruby Engineer (Web Scraping) to join a remote-first team building real-time SERP APIs powering hundreds of engines. You will tackle browser automation, anti-bot evasion, and CDP internals to deliver reliable data at scale.

The role requires deep technical hands-on work with concurrency, infrastructure and web fundamentals, and you will collaborate with customers and ship features across the stack.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in browser automation and web scraping.
• Deep knowledge of CDP, anti-bot evasion, and TLS fingerprinting.
• Experience with concurrency and distributed systems.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Fix and extend parsers and scrapers under time pressure.
• Build new search engine integrations and browser automation features.
• Reverse engineer protections and optimize CDP-based workflows.
• Collaborate with customers and document APIs and tooling.
