Sensor Tower is seeking a Software Engineer to help scale our data infrastructure and build features for high-volume datasets. You will own significant backend components, collaborate with a distributed team, and contribute to SDK Insights with an emphasis on reliability and performance.

You should have strong programming fundamentals, experience with RESTful APIs, and knowledge of Ruby on Rails (or willingness to learn Rails). Remote-friendly with a global team.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer; meaningful GitHub contributions considered.
• Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software design.
• Solid understanding of RESTful systems and API design.
• Understanding of cloud environments; experience with AWS preferred.
• Required: Ruby on Rails (or Python and willingness to learn Rails).
• Nice to have: ClickHouse, MongoDB, Sidekiq, TypeScript, React.js.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the full development life cycle from design to release.
• Develop features end-to-end from architecture to backend delivery.
• Optimize endpoints touching billions of rows by profiling Ruby code and ClickHouse queries.
• Perform code reviews and improve tools and processes.
• Work on products like SDK Insights requiring backend and teardown knowledge.
