Jobgether is seeking a Product Compliance Counsel for a fully remote position in Portugal. The role focuses on ensuring digital products meet regulatory requirements across EU/US markets and involves collaborating with product, marketing and technology teams.

You’ll review marketing claims, product specs, and monetization models, advise on compliance approaches, and monitor evolving regulations. This is a remote‑first role offering a competitive package and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or related legal discipline.
• Strong knowledge of EU and US consumer protection laws.
• Experience with marketing and advertising compliance across EU/US.
• Understanding of digital legislation and AI governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal English skills (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Ensure products, marketing initiatives and processes comply with applicable laws.
• Review product specs, user journeys, monetization models and features for compliance risks.
• Support audits, incident responses and corrective actions.
• Advise marketing on regional compliance requirements and approve campaigns.
• Monitor regulatory developments in digital platforms, AI governance, and consumer protection.
• Communicate legal updates and support operational changes across teams.
