Körber Supply Chain is seeking a PLC & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team in Portugal. You will develop PLC software, test and optimize automation systems, and support installation and startup activities for parcel and logistics projects.

The role requires at least 2 years in PLC programming, Siemens platforms experience, and willingness to travel internationally. You will collaborate with skilled teams, deliver customer training, and help drive end-to-end automation solutions.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of PLC programming and commissioning experience.
• Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Siemens automation platforms (S7 Classic, TIA Portal, S7 Safety, WinCC Flexible).
• Knowledge of drive technology, industrial networks and fieldbus systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally - roughly 5–6 months per year, with assignments up to 3 weeks.
• Experience in intralogistics or warehouse automation is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement PLC software with fieldbus integration.
• Commission, test, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems.
• Support system installation, startup, and customer acceptance activities.
• Deliver customer training and technical support during project execution.
