Colt Technology Services is seeking a Global VAT Compliance lead to own and drive VAT governance across its international footprint. You will act as a subject matter expert, deliver autonomous VAT advice, and lead timely returns and related filings.

You will collaborate with external advisors and tax authorities, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in processes, controls and reporting while operating with autonomy and strategic input.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years’ experience in European and UK VAT compliance including returns and reconciliations.
• Experience in VAT advisory and cross-border indirect tax projects.
• High accuracy, strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own relationships with external VAT advisors and provide strategic direction on compliance and process improvements.
• Provide autonomous VAT advice to the business and support governance across regions.
• Lead delivery and governance of indirect tax obligations, ensuring timely returns and filings.
• Review VAT returns and reconciliations prepared by internal teams and advisors.
• Coordinate audits, inquiries and investigations with tax authorities.
